Senior Product Designer, Subscriber Activation

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Be a fierce advocate for external and internal users by shaping solutions based on research, data, and deep knowledge of the user base, and socialize learnings with the community.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of interaction design, system-thinking, inclusive design, information architecture, multi-step, and cross-platform flows across a holistic user experience.
• Lead the vision for your product area alongside product, engineering, editorial, and marketing partners, shaping the roadmap and strategic design direction to serve broader company objectives and user needs.
• Expertly employ design and prototyping tools like Figma to solve and communicate user flows, interactions, and motion, with familiarity in HTML and CSS for collaboration with engineering teams.
• Demonstrate and articulate understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and brand, leveraging existing visual frameworks and introducing new patterns to strengthen the design system.
• Share work early and often, encouraging constructive feedback from peers, stakeholders, and teams, and providing regular, impactful feedback in return.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas, goals, and problems clearly and accessibly across disciplines and organizational levels.
• Move fluidly and collaboratively through each stage of a fast-paced, iterative, cross-team environment, turning ambiguous concepts into actionable deliverables and ensuring stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

• An undergraduate or graduate degree in design or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a digital product designer creating consumer-facing web or mobile products.
• High proficiency in design and rapid prototyping tools such as Figma, Proto.io, and familiarity with HTML/CSS.
• A portfolio showcasing multiple shipped products demonstrating design leadership and end-to-end product design thinking.
• Bonus: Experience designing onboarding or activation experiences, especially within subscription-based businesses.

• A strong portfolio of shipped products demonstrating design leadership and comprehensive product design skills.

• Salary range of $140,000 - $175,000 USD annually plus benefits and bonus.
