About the Role

The Senior Product Manager at Confluence is responsible for the strategic management of a high-growth, high-visibility product within the Compliance & Reporting department. The role involves driving product strategy, collaborating across functions, and serving as a subject matter expert on Asset Management regulatory requirements in the US and European regions. The position offers international exposure, client engagement, and the opportunity to work remotely within US EST hours, with occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive product strategy and manage all aspects of the product's commercial success.
  • Collaborate across functions and foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business growth and thought leadership.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Asset Management regulatory requirements and changes in the US and European regions, such as SEC 13G/D, SEC 13F, ESMA Short-sale reporting, and ESMA Transparency Directive II.
  • Engage directly with clients approximately 50% of the time, forging relationships and delivering impactful solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the US and EMEA regions, facilitating global communication.
  • Occasionally travel within the US and internationally to support the role.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management within the industry, ideally with shareholder disclosure from a product compliance perspective.
  • Understanding of daily operational demands, reporting cycles, and strategic nuances of disclosure obligations.
  • Proven ability to navigate regulatory complexities across jurisdictions and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, especially in service to asset managers.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one of the following regulatory frameworks: SEC 13G/D, SEC 13F, ESMA Short Sale Reporting, ESMA Transparency Directive II.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with insight, initiative, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally connected compliance landscape.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with asset managers or in compliance-related product management.
  • International experience or exposure to US and European regulatory environments.
