Key Responsibilities

Use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive product decisions with superior analytical, problem-solving, quantitative, and critical thinking abilities.
Manage multiple and competing priorities in an agile development environment with strong problem solving and issue-resolution skills.
Translate both business needs and technical needs to appropriate teams.
Manage work from teams of widely varying skills and levels.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with great attention to detail.
Collaborate on product design with product managers, architects, and engineers.
Determine user requirements, functional requirements, data flows, and business process flows.
Create epics and user stories and lead story mapping to develop functionality.
Lead sprint planning and grooming sessions.
Partner with project management, engineering, and testing to define project delivery timelines.
Prioritize backlog for new feature and enhancement development.

Requirements

8-10+ years of Product Management experience defining, launching, and iterating lifescience SaaS products.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or life science.
Experience with user experience and business process development.
Experience working with diverse teams of engineers and designers within an Agile framework.
Technical experience as a developer or product designer.
Strong scientific background, product instinct, and creativity.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Ability to think like a user and understand culture of data science products as well as competitors.

Nice to Have

Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Github.
Experience with standard measurement platforms such as Pendo Analytics.

Qualifications

Educational background in engineering or life science.
