We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. We are the team that builds Google Tensor, Google's custom system-on-chip (SoC) that powers Pixel devices. Tensor makes transformative user experiences possible with the help of ML running on our Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) ML accelerator. Our goal is to productize the latest AI innovations and research by delivering heterogeneous computing hardware and software. In this role, you will define and drive our Tensor SoC ISP for Pixel Camera. Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Tensor SoC ISP from early concept definition through launch on Pixel phones.
  • Define long term strategy, goals, roadmaps and product requirement documents (PRDs).
  • Collaborate with research, first-party devices and apps partners to identify use cases and KPIs driving silicon requirements.
  • Define and lead cross-functional work streams to deliver the exceptional Camera experiences with Tensor SoC.
  • Identify mobile semiconductor and camera market trends, analyze, and produce relevant insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience in semiconductors, cameras, electronics, SoC design or architecture, or consumer electronics.
  • Experience in camera imaging hardware design.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in technology, business, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience defining and launching silicon products for consumer hardware.
  • Experience in software optimizations on hardware, accelerators, or mobile machine learning software development.
  • Familiarity with software applications and development life-cycles for ML solutions.
  • Excellent influencing, communication and problem-solving skills to advocate initiatives with key stakeholders and executive management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

Benefits & Perks

  • US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
  • Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
