Senior Product Manager, YouTube Shorts

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Understand markets, competition, and user requirements.
• Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, User Experience (UX), and other teams on technologies.
• Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in consumer product management or related technical role.
• 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• 3 years of experience working with recommender systems, or Machine Learning (ML) based products.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
• 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
• 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting).
• 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
• 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
• Experience working in creator ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Formal educational background includes a Bachelor's degree or higher, with preferred advanced degrees in relevant fields.

Benefits & Perks

• US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
• Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education.
