About the Role

The Senior Product Marketing Manager & Marketing Team Lead at Codat is responsible for owning product marketing for Spend Insights and leading a 4-person marketing team across customer lifecycle campaigns, content marketing, events, and outbound business development. This role involves strategic positioning, market analysis, product launches, and team leadership within a company that helps banks create data-driven relationships with business customers through a platform that facilitates access and interpretation of financial data. Codat is backed by leading investors and aims to be the go-to platform for commercial banking teams serving SMBs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the messaging hierarchy and value proposition for Spend Insights and future banking insight solutions.
  • Distill complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated narratives for multiple bank personas.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and GTM teams to develop a distinct and credible brand for Codat in commercial banking.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis across commercial banking data, fintech infrastructure, and regulatory trends.
  • Analyze competitors' strengths and weaknesses to position Codat's product effectively and identify areas for differentiation.
  • Work closely with Sales to capture field insights, address competitor objections, and enhance sales materials.
  • Build direct customer relationships to support market intelligence and sales efforts.
  • Support product advisory processes by creating relationships with key prospects and clients for product feedback.
  • Influence product roadmap prioritization based on customer and market insights.
  • Lead product launch planning, including enablement, communications, and sales collateral.
  • Drive post-sale adoption marketing programs to influence usage and expansion.
  • Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success teams.
  • Develop and maintain high-impact collateral such as pitch decks, case studies, and objection-handling guides.
  • Support RFPs, pilots, and strategic deals with tailored narratives and proof points.
  • Lead a high-performing marketing team across functions including demand generation, campaigns, events, and content.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and leadership to align marketing activities with business priorities.
  • Participate in strategic planning and represent marketing in growth and brand development discussions.

Requirements

  • Experienced Product Marketing manager in B2B SaaS or fintech.
  • Experience with People Leadership or Program Management.
  • Demonstrated success owning messaging, product launches, enablement, and adoption.
  • Strong familiarity with commercial banking (e.g., Treasury, Cards, FX, RMs) or experience marketing to financial institutions.
  • Understanding of enterprise sales cycles is desirable.
  • Exceptional communicator comfortable translating technical features into executive-ready narratives.
  • A hands-on team leader who enjoys owning outcomes from strategy through execution.

  • Experience with enterprise sales cycles.
