About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully featured services from data centers globally. The company serves millions of customers, including startups, large enterprises, and government agencies, helping them lower costs, become more agile, and innovate faster. The Senior Product Marketing Manager for AWS in-memory databases will define and drive marketing strategies for a rapidly growing flagship business, creating compelling content, building marketing programs, and working with engineering teams to shape product vision and prioritize features. The role may be located in Seattle, WA or the Bay Area, with relocation offered from within the US only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own messaging and positioning.
  • Collaborate with AWS engineering teams to distill key functionality and benefits of major launches into product marketing messages.
  • Engage with AWS field and digital marketing teams to identify and integrate joint messaging and content into lead generation, customer engagement, and product adoption focused marketing programs.
  • Craft and develop compelling audience-specific messages as well as presentations, customer success stories, and videos.
  • Work with sales to ready our general and specialized sales teams on our joint value propositions and messaging.
  • Work effectively across AWS with groups such as engineering, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve our joint business goals.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • 5+ years of product marketing or related experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches.

Qualifications

  • Experience in building and scaling marketing programs.
  • Proven ability to develop compelling messaging and content.
  • Strong collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
