About the Role

Are you an experienced product marketing leader in the Energy and Utilities industry? Are you passionate about how technology can be used to solve business problems? The AWS Industry Marketing team helps drive product strategy, go-to-market motions, and marketing activities that help industry customers transform their businesses using a broad portfolio of cloud services and solutions. The role involves developing differentiated positioning and messaging, creating customer-centric storytelling, managing marketing activities for large-scale events and product launches, and enabling sales and GTM teams with industry-specific content. The position offers the opportunity to work on a rapidly growing business that impacts people's everyday lives and to collaborate globally in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and develop compelling stories, content, and tools such as presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, and product videos that communicate the energy and utilities value proposition.
  • Engage with customers and partners to drive advocacy.
  • Own content strategy and execution across key communication channels including website, blog, social media, on-network promotion, and emails.
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives at industry events to showcase messaging, content, keynotes, and breakout sessions.
  • Collaborate with AWS field support teams to maintain internal sales hubs with the latest industry resources, value propositions, and sales enablement content.
  • Partner with other marketing teams (web content, campaigns, demand generation, field teams, events) to drive and execute global marketing initiatives.
  • Continuously measure and optimize product marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience leading go-to-market for software or hardware product launches.
  • Experience driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive results and presenting those results to senior leadership.
  • Ability to transform complex technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand messaging and materials.
  • Passion for technology services and how they can create business outcomes in the Energy and Utilities vertical.

  • Industry subject-matter expertise in Energy and Utilities.
  • Experience with success in a data-driven product marketing organization.

Qualifications

  • Basic qualifications include 6+ years of professional marketing experience.
  • Experience with large-scale project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with go-to-market strategies for product launches.
