Job Description

About the Role

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Infrastructure and Networking at Google, you will lead go-to-market strategies for the networking and compute business within Google Cloud. You will synthesize complex product capabilities into compelling narratives, drive product launches, and build cross-cloud customer stories. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams across sales, engineering, legal, and marketing to shape product positioning, expand the customer base, and demonstrate how Google's products solve real-world problems in innovative ways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take a leadership role in defining the networking and compute business marketing strategy, including building messaging and content, and managing objectives and key results (OKRs) such as customer acquisition, pipeline, and web/page views.
  • Identify the best customers, share their stories, and incorporate them into impactful go-to-market motions.
  • Collaborate with other marketing teams (e.g., campaigns, demand generation, field teams, events) and product teams to drive customer acquisition and business growth globally.
  • Build a community of networking users to gather insights that inform product and message optimization.
  • Lead the launch of new products and features during flagship events.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, engineering teams, and other product and marketing groups across Google.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights to inform program design and optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in marketing across fields such as growth, product marketing, or solutions marketing.
  • 5 years of experience with enterprise or cloud networking.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience delivering product narratives to define new categories and expand business.
  • Ability to synthesize complex product capabilities and customer narratives into succinct benefits.
  • Strong organizational skills and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketing campaigns targeting IT decision makers.
  • Experience planning and executing multiple, complex marketing programs including budget management.
  • Proven track record of growing cloud-based businesses.
  • Knowledge of compute and enterprise networking.
  • Ability to connect technology with user needs in unconventional ways.

Qualifications

  • Educational background including a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • US base salary range of $165,000-$245,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
