About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of demanding high impact complex projects in accordance with Metso processes, tools, and policies, utilizing solid project management practices.
• Lead project teams, ensuring deliveries are properly resourced, meet customer expectations, fulfill contract obligations, and achieve targets for safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Manage stakeholder communication and relationship management with customers, suppliers, and internal units.
• Adhere to robust scope change management practices in delivering projects, including project upsales.
• Manage lessons learned, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in project portfolio meetings.
• Support warranty process RCA and resolution as applicable.
• Ensure that information updates are done in Installed Base.
• Provide support (technical and cost input) for sales cases and proposals.

Requirements

• Own the project lifecycle by managing complex, high-stakes projects using Metso's tools, processes, and best-in-class project management practices.
• Lead with purpose by guiding project teams to deliver on customer expectations, contractual commitments, and internal targets for safety, quality, timelines, and budget.
• Build strong relationships as the main point of contact for stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Drive value by managing scope changes effectively and identifying upselling opportunities within projects.
• Foster continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and sharing insights to enhance future project performance.
• Collaborate across the business by participating in project portfolio meetings and supporting warranty resolution processes when needed.
• Keep systems up to date by ensuring accurate updates in the Installed Base and contribute technical and cost input for sales proposals.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing upgrade and modernization/retrofit projects across BDH products/technologies such as Filtration, Flotation, Thickener, Automation, and Hydrometallurgy.
• Familiarity with international project management practices and cross-border project execution.

• Proficiency with project management tools, processes, and practices.
