About the Role

The Senior Proposal Coordinator at Layton Construction is responsible for supporting and leading pursuit teams in proposal development, marketing support, and maintaining marketing information. The role involves creating compelling proposals, supporting strategic marketing initiatives, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that reflect the company's strengths and market needs. Key Responsibilities

Supports and leads pursuit teams in proposal implementation, applying process and principles.
Contributes to proposal content and leads effort on level 2 & 3 proposals and collateral pieces under supervision.
Supports action planning and progress tracking for proposals.
Conducts research to identify Layton's qualifications and competitor information.
Works with Creative Services to generate graphics and layout for marketing products.
Responds to requests for information and client research assistance.
Creates and maintains well-organized, accessible qualifications statements, project descriptions, and resumes.
Performs proposal
unpacking
and updates content in Cosential and other platforms.
Develops proficiency in creating proposals and other sales/marketing deliverables.
Reviews best practices and adopts new ideas into BD support and proposal efforts.
Supports compliance with Layton's capture planning.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of experience in proposal and presentation planning, coordination, page layout, drafting tailored content, graphics development, and editing, preferably in the AEC industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with persuasive writing and presentation ability.
Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and MS Office (PowerPoint).
Experience coaching others in interviews and presentations is preferred.
