We are searching for a talented Senior Software Test Engineer to join our Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team. The greater team is building and deploying a next-generation modeling & simulation framework. The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for software verification and validation, including test planning, development, execution, analysis and associated documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for defining test strategies, plans, procedures and reports.
Writing tests, executing those tests, and reporting the results.
Designing, constructing and implementing manual and automated tests that thoroughly exercise the product from the perspective of the customer.
Assessing system and software level requirement specifications, software design, interface design, test, and other development related documentation as needed.
Supporting bug reporting and tracking and software test processes.
Assisting in the development of the test strategy to meet the release schedule.
Assisting with implementation of the enhancements, including documentation, instruction and hands-on-training of others.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant technical field.
US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
Ability to work in dynamic environment.
Self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
A minimum of 5 years of experience.
Developing and running test automation.
Experience with developing and managing automated testing to support Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines.
Familiarity with Agile software development principles and practices.
Experience creating and managing testing and user facing documentation.
Experience developing comprehensive test plans, strategies, and procedures to validate software functionality and performance.
