About the Role

Razorfish's Strategy & Performance team is looking for a Performance Strategist with strong business intuition, a collaborative spirit, and a knack for simplifying the complex. This person will be working on data-driven marketing initiatives to increase and improve acquisition, unify client and agency teams around learning plans, and scale the program to other products or lines of business. The team is responsible for active management of testing roadmaps, seamless test execution, and leading strategic analysis. The role involves empowering cross-functional teams, making informed recommendations based on data and UX best practices, and having a large impact on performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Performance Marketing Strategist to advise internal teams and stakeholders on how to set KPIs, design tests/optimizations, and achieve business outcomes accordingly
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand Line of Business (LOB) priorities, challenges and translate those findings into executable recommendations
  • Proactively identify gaps and opportunities across creative, media, and experience touchpoints by analyzing data and funnel metrics
  • Develop and test new methodologies, technologies, or approaches to find potential conversion optimizations
  • Lead and manage day-to-day testing and optimization programs focused on digital acquisition across paid and owned channels
  • Lead key client conversations related to testing priorities, goals, and impact
  • Elevate and complement the work of Brand and Experience Strategists by providing a data/performance perspective to brand briefs
  • Partner with Media, Data, and Creative teams to ensure application of full funnel best practices
  • Communicate results and insights to internal and client stakeholders, applying findings to future tests and experiments

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience with digital channels and performance marketing
  • Experience with audience targeting, dynamic creative optimization (DCO), conversion rate optimization, A/B testing
  • Demonstrated success in performance marketing campaign development and optimization, including digital design/user experience, display marketing, search (SEO and SEM), social media, mobile applications, content management, and digital analytics
  • Passionate about finding insights and challenging the status quo; obsession for deep dives into the business and understanding how it makes money
  • Strong team player with the ability to influence and empower others
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for various audiences
  • Tact, diplomacy, and maturity in relating and interacting with people at all levels
  • Desire to elevate and apply work experience beyond a single media channel or function
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Experience with marketing technology vendors such as Google and Adobe
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
