About the Role

Our Deloitte AI & Engineering team is focused on transforming technology platforms, driving innovation, and making a significant impact on our clients' success. The team works alongside talented professionals reimagining and reengineering critical operations and processes that help clients improve financial performance, accelerate digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation. This role involves supporting government and public sector clients with engineering and technical documentation expertise, contributing to complex programs with a product engineering mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems and IT engineering, system and IT operations, testing, and user documentation
  • Write and edit technical documentation for hardware and software to include installation and configuration
  • Create code documentation for software
  • Produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities
  • Provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation and format technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consult with technical personnel and other available resources
  • Possess understanding of software development (SDLC), and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Interact with government personnel and senior executives on technical considerations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Ability to be onsite 100% of the time in one of the listed locations: Washington, DC; Reston VA; Colorado Springs CO; Tampa FL; Huntsville AL; St. Louis MO
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
  • Proven experience of at least 5+ years as a technical writer

Nice to Have

  • Experience with technical documentation for hardware and software
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
