About the Role

Google’s UX team is composed of multidisciplinary professionals dedicated to creating industry-leading, user-centric experiences. As an Interaction Designer, you will collaborate across teams to craft intuitive, innovative products that serve billions of users worldwide, focusing on reimagining search and maintaining high-quality design standards throughout the product development process.

Key Responsibilities

Define an outstanding user experience at various stages of the design process by delivering wireframes, user flows, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes.
Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to define requirements, and manage projects and stakeholders.
Keep product surfaces current and advocate for design excellence throughout the product development process.
Define and maintain UX on internal Content Management Systems (CMS), platforms and tools.
Work with research to define data-informed insights to improve existing experiences.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience focused primarily in interaction and visual design, contributing to products, design systems, or games.
Include a portfolio, website, or relevant link to work in your resume.
Experience designing across multiple platforms and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building uses.
Experience with coding in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and bespoke JavaScript libraries.

Qualifications

Benefits & Perks

US base salary range for this full-time position is $178,000-$265,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
