About the Role

The Senior Vice President, Product Marketing Manager at BNY Mellon is a key leadership role within the Platforms Marketing team, partnering with the Treasury Services business to drive marketing strategies that support business growth and success. The role involves developing positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies, collaborating across functions, and acting as a subject matter expert to enhance demand generation, client engagement, and sales enablement. Located in New York City, this hybrid position offers an opportunity to influence the global financial services industry through innovative marketing initiatives and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the commercial success of BNY's Treasury Services business by creating and executing marketing strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand the roadmap, develop positioning, messaging, and create go-to-market strategies.
  • Plug into broader marketing initiatives across the enterprise and collaborate with other stakeholders to facilitate multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the business from positioning through to sales enablement.
  • Build platform positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with clients and the market to highlight differentiation.
  • Create and maintain a sales enablement suite of materials to support demand generation, client lifecycle marketing, sales, and account development.
  • Identify product synergies across the broader enterprise.
  • Unite marketing, commercial, client success, and product teams to drive business results.
  • Collaborate with business partners including product development, sales, and relationship management teams, as well as marketing and communications teams to execute deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, particularly from Banks, Payments or FinTechs.
  • Proven ability in developing and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Deep understanding of marketing principles, customer insights, and emerging trends in product marketing within financial services.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for driving innovation and excellence in product marketing strategy development and execution.
  • Sound understanding of the payments ecosystem and knowledge of cash management, liquidity, and/or trade finance is preferable.
