About the Role

Robert Half is building a network of SEO Specialists to match with businesses needing expertise in optimizing their websites, analyzing performance metrics, and staying ahead of algorithm updates. This is an ongoing opportunity to showcase SEO skills across diverse industries and projects. As an SEO Specialist, you will develop and execute strategies to optimize website content, improve technical elements, boost rankings, and drive traffic, working across teams to integrate SEO best practices into the organization's digital presence while staying at the forefront of evolving algorithm changes and SEO tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that align with the company's goals and drive organic growth.
  • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for organic traffic growth.
  • Optimize website content, metadata (title tags, meta descriptions), headers, and internal links for maximum SEO efficiency.
  • Ensure proper use of keywords and maintain optimized content structures.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues, such as site speed, indexing, crawlability, and mobile usability concerns.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement technical SEO enhancements, including schema markup, canonical tags, and XML sitemaps.
  • Optimize blog posts, articles, product descriptions, and other digital assets for engagement and organic visibility.
  • Develop and execute link-building strategies, including outreach, partnerships, and content promotion.
  • Regularly assess backlink profiles for quality and disavow harmful links to maintain site integrity.
  • Monitor and report on key SEO metrics, including rankings, traffic, conversions, and ROI, using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
  • Track competitors' SEO performance and tactics to identify new opportunities and recommend strategic adjustments.
  • Work with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure digital assets align with SEO best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on emerging SEO trends and practices.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in managing and executing SEO strategies for websites across industries.
  • Experience optimizing both on-page content and technical elements for search engines.
  • Background in link-building campaigns and off-page SEO strategies.
  • Familiarity with competitor analysis tools to identify growth opportunities.
  • Expertise in keyword research techniques and competitive analysis.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret SEO metrics like traffic, rankings, and conversions, and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and explain complex SEO concepts.
  • Ability to stay updated on industry trends and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz Pro, Ubersuggest, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Sitebulb, Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Ahrefs Site Audit, Surfer SEO, MarketMuse, Clearscope, Frase.io, Yoast SEO, Rank Math, Pitchbox, BuzzStream, SEMrush Position Tracking, Ahrefs Rank Tracker, AccuRanker, Rank Ranger, SERPWatcher, Google My Business, Whitespark, Yext, BrightLocal, SEMrush Alerts, Google Alerts, Brand24, Mention.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications in SEO platforms such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush.
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
