The North America Home Improvement Product Marketing Leader will lead product development, market research, and end-user insights for the Home Improvement segment, focusing on brands like Great Stuff™, Froth-Pak™, Styrofoam™, Tyvek®, and Corian® Design, reporting to the Global Strategic Marketing & Growth Leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the Annual Product Marketing Plan aligned with the Marketing Strategy for the Home Improvement Business Segment, ensuring support for financial goals and long-term vision.
  • Identify unmet end-user needs through market research and jobsite visits to inform product innovation and development, impacting features, user experience, naming, and packaging.
  • Lead cross-functional teams on New Product Launches and Commercialization, owning the go-to-market strategy and ensuring messaging effectively communicates product features and benefits.
  • Be the product expert for foam product lines, understanding applications and translating technical details into end-user benefits.
  • Manage existing products to ensure they meet their value proposition post-launch and update or improve them as needed.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Marketing, Product Management, and Technical teams to develop and manage the new product pipeline, utilizing innovation best practices.
  • Monitor and refine Voice of Customer (VOC) throughout the product development cycle.
  • Conduct end-user-based market research, including qualitative and quantitative methods, to build a clear application roadmap.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and incorporate insights into successful product launches.
  • Identify key market trends and emerging industry dynamics to define strategic opportunities.
  • Determine value propositions for key end-use segments and refine Critical To Quality (CTQ) parameters for product development.
  • Research competitors, assess competitive advantages and risks, forecast responses, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support Channel Marketing with customer meetings, presentations, and line reviews.
  • Develop and oversee product training for internal teams, external customers, and end-users.
  • Demonstrate curiosity, challenge conventional thinking, and leverage both incremental and breakthrough innovation approaches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, or science.
  • Minimum 7 years of cross-functional business experience leading results-oriented, multinational teams in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data for complex business decisions.
  • Exceptional organizational and management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and influence business decisions.
  • Willingness to travel 25-30% and spend time on active jobsites.
