About the Role

The Showroom Experience Leader at Honda North America is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and operation of a new Showroom Experience as part of the Acura Digital Revolution initiative. This role involves overseeing omnichannel customer experiences, technology hardware selection, dealer readiness, and driving innovation to enhance customer engagement and support the launch of Battery Electric Vehicles. The position requires inspiring leadership across multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver a seamless, future-focused showroom environment aligned with Honda's vision of innovation and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead decisions regarding the omnichannel experience in the dealership to assist a seamless integration between the digital selling platform and the in-person experience.
  • Oversee technology hardware selection and implementation to support the showroom experience.
  • Set the vision for future improvements to the Showroom Experience.
  • Ensure the field and dealers are prepared for the ADR mindset and ways of working, including changes from Showroom Experience or other Value Streams.
  • Assist the field and dealers to be ready to sell Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) by advising on benefits, incentives, and charging solutions.
  • Organize sales activities with National Sales, including allocation strategy, demo vehicles, and Home Electrification displays.
  • Identify key metrics and KPIs to measure success and manage dealer performance.
  • Propose changes to dealer performance bonus structures as appropriate.
  • Represent and advocate for the business in planning, product development, and solution management aligned with Honda's business strategies.
  • Lead change management and communication initiatives within the organization and externally, including executive approval and deployment of projects.
  • Lead and inspire project teams using Agile methodologies, managing multiple initiatives and product teams.
  • Manage project budgets, external vendor relationships, and track project KPIs.
  • Collaborate with ADR Transformation Office and other Value Stream Owners to align digital transformation initiatives.
  • Work with other AHM teams to define strategy and ensure alignment across enterprise functions.
  • Present project proposals and updates to senior executives and stakeholders, conveying impediments and collaborating on solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7 years vehicle-related experience.
  • 5-7 years in detail-oriented roles.
  • 5+ years of field sales experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong detail-oriented expertise.
  • Ability to manage projects and lead strategy discussions.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand complex processes and their interrelations across business partners.
  • Ability to weigh risks and benefits and create business justifications.
  • Leadership skills to prioritize initiatives and ensure alignment.
  • Proven ability to build partner relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience in negotiating with dealers to deliver value to customers.
  • Ability to guide teams through project challenges while maintaining focus on customer needs.

Nice to Have

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release process (preferred but not required).

  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
