Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with potential small business clients through channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, and SDR sets.
  • Effectively communicate Birdeye's value proposition and tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of each business.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand prospects' pain points and goals.
  • Present Birdeye's platform as a solution to address client pain points, showcasing how the software can enhance their online presence, reputation, and customer interactions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within small businesses.
  • Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline of leads and opportunities using Salesforce, including updating records and tracking sales activities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as onboarding, customer success, and solution engineers to ensure seamless customer onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience managing the full outbound sales cycle, including prospecting, outreach, and closing.
  • 1+ years of experience delivering compelling online product demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a high-activity environment with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated success closing a high volume of deals within a short sales cycle.
  • Strong track record of identifying, developing, and managing opportunities throughout the sales pipeline.
  • Skilled in sourcing and qualifying small business leads to build a robust pipeline.
  • Ability to drive deals forward through various sales stages and secure customer commitments.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales Development teams for lead handoff and pipeline continuity.
  • Ability to demonstrate previous success through awards, rankings, accomplishments, or a 'brag book'.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Experience in social media, reputation management, or customer experience software sales.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
