Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the 'go-to' thought leader, driving integration between social media strategy, brand strategy, and engagement planning for Ogilvy Health clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, cultivating strong relationships, proactively addressing issues, and providing strategic counsel.
  • Oversee multiple complex campaigns from concept to completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, timeline management, and performance analysis.
  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of influencer marketing programs, including identifying influencers, negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and creating content briefs.
  • Develop and implement content strategies for social channels, ensuring engaging and relevant content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Oversee the development of creative content, providing briefs to creative teams and collaborating with copywriters, designers, and video producers.
  • Work with PR, Research & Analytics, Creative, and Paid Media teams, as well as partner agencies, to ensure campaign execution and impact.
  • Maintain understanding of FDA and FTC regulations related to social media and influencer marketing in healthcare, ensuring full compliance.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, providing reports and insights to optimize strategies.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, emerging platforms, and technologies to innovate and improve campaign performance.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Support business development efforts, including assisting with RFP responses and outreach initiatives.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in branded pharmaceutical social media work and healthcare professional (HCP)-facing social media initiatives.
  • Experience integrating social media into omnichannel marketing strategies; digital marketing knowledge is a bonus.
  • 6-9 years of progressive experience working with healthcare clients, preferably in an advertising agency setting.
  • Proven success in developing and managing impactful influencer programs for healthcare clients, both branded and unbranded.
  • Hands-on experience managing social media channels for healthcare brands, including use of third-party scheduling, monitoring, and listening tools.
  • Current understanding of FDA and FTC regulations related to social media and influencer marketing in healthcare.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, track campaign performance, and generate actionable reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital marketing as part of omnichannel strategies.
