Social Media Analyst (Spanish - Central Mexico)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provides language-specific social media subject matter expertise to operations and assessments.
• Provides continuous monitoring, expert analysis, and assessment of global, trans-regional, regional, and tailored areas of online media and news sources.
• Gathers information on trends, behaviors, events, and global developments to generate media synopsis reports and assessments of social media discourse.
• Produces predictive recommendations and identifies operational opportunities.
• Monitors industry and technology trends in traditional, digital, social, mobile media platforms and assessments.
• Uses industry best practice methods and advanced analytical tools to assess relevant media products and online communications.
• Employs open source/publicly available information analysis to generate historical and predictive representations of relevant entities.
• Responds to requests for information by researching, synthesizing, evaluating, and providing assessments based on multi-sourced information.
• Prepares reports of analysis and makes recommendations to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of related experience, or significant experience in lieu.
• Native-level fluency in Spanish, Mexican dialects, and cultural knowledge of regions within Central Mexico.
• Excellent oral and written English skills.
• Experience in social media analysis, monitoring, and assessment.
• Ability to employ analytical tools and processes for media analysis.
• Must possess Secret clearance and be able to obtain TS/SCI eligibility.
• Willingness and ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 10%.

Nice to Have

• Experience with predictive analytics and open source analysis tools.
• Knowledge of geo-political contexts related to social media discourse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Secret clearance, ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
