About the Role

The Social Media Assistant will help execute the marketing agenda of COPE Health Solutions across our Health Scholars programs and communication activities and channels. The role requires close collaboration with program management, as well as various internal and external stakeholders. COPE Health Solutions is a national mission-driven consulting firm dedicated to health education, population health management, and workforce training, with a growing presence across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and publish social media content across platforms, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Responsible for direct messaging on Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.
  • Maintain an up-to-date event calendar to support outreach and program recruitment efforts.
  • Lead branding initiatives for Outreach Leaders and Ambassadors, ensuring alignment with organizational messaging.
  • Provide training and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in digital content management.
  • Collect and analyze online program reviews to drive continuous improvement in marketing and recruitment efforts.
  • Review, update, and manage website content to reflect current program offerings and initiatives.
  • Create, organize, and maintain a content library to support social media and outreach efforts.
  • Coordinate and manage film shoots to develop promotional content.
  • Develop press releases to highlight key milestones, partnerships, and program achievements.
  • Support with materials with other partners marketing team.
  • Create and adapt marketing toolkits for clients, including flyers, trifolds, and client websites.
  • Develop and update marketing materials for various programs such as Health Scholars, Junior Health Scholars, and Care Navigators.
  • Conduct reviews of brochures and flyers twice a year or as needed for accuracy and branding alignment.
  • Maintain an operational work plan as required by the Marketing Manager.
  • Communicate effectively up and down the chain of command, reporting issues or red flags.
  • Meet or exceed all milestones, deadlines, and deliverables set by the Marketing Manager.

Requirements

  • Must be able to commit 15-20 hours per week for three months.
  • Enrolled in or graduated from a college or university (preferred).
  • Enrolled in or graduated from the Health Scholar Program (preferred).
  • Experience in marketing, social media, or digital programs (preferred).
  • Strong customer drive and dedication to quality and success.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work well independently.
  • Able to work collaboratively and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible with work hours, able to travel, and work evenings and weekends as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Enrolled in or graduated from a college or university.
  • Enrolled in or graduated from the Health Scholar Program.
  • Experience in marketing, social media, or digital programs.
