About the Role

The Social Media Associate at Fidelity Investments will help develop, manage, and execute both organic and paid social media strategies for the @FidelityJobs channels. The role involves highlighting company culture and increasing awareness of career opportunities at Fidelity within a dynamic, collaborative team within the Enterprise Talent Marketing and Partnerships organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help develop, manage, and execute organic and paid social media strategies for the @FidelityJobs channels.
  • Create and edit short-form video content such as Reels and TikToks.
  • Manage social media communities by providing timely and helpful responses.
  • Manage multiple social media channels simultaneously.
  • Track industry trends and monitor competitors to provide informed recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, copywriting, and legal.
  • Develop content that aligns with goals and engages target audiences.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of assets.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze social media campaigns.
  • Build relationships and network with associates at all levels, including on-camera talent.
  • Utilize social media analytics tools and scheduling software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or related field.
  • 1-3+ years of marketing experience with a focus on organic and paid social media.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Glassdoor, etc.).
  • Proven ability to create and edit short-form video content.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills tailored for digital platforms.
  • Experience managing social media communities with timely responses.
  • Ability to manage multiple social media channels simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with strong video editing skills.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and scheduling software.
  • Understanding of SEO as it applies to social media content.
  • Strong project management skills, including managing timelines and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel up to 25% required.

Nice to Have

  • Agency experience in social media marketing.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and user-generated content strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
