About the Role

The Social Media Coordinator at LEGO plays a key role in supporting the Global Social Media team to build a stronger marketing value chain, increase effectiveness, and engage audiences through content and conversations on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and SnapChat. The position involves collaborating cross-functionally to execute platform-specific creative, monitor social conversations, identify trending content opportunities, and analyze social media performance to help the LEGO Group stand out and connect with different audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team with ongoing briefs and content executions of platform first, audience specific creative across major social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and SnapChat.
  • Keep on the pulse of social conversations and advocate for ways to help the LEGO Group stand out.
  • Identify trending content opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain day-to-day needs such as asset management, working with publishing, and updating content calendars.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key teams such as Community Management, Creative, Brand Marketing, Product Groups, and Paid Social.
  • Track and analyze social media performance and competitor analyses and deliver actionable insights.
  • Champion the Brand and social media best practices.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in social media marketing for a consumer-facing brand.
  • Expertise in social media tools and platforms.
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, short-form and long-form content, and how to connect with different audiences.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Data-driven and committed approach.
  • Passion for storytelling, connecting with different audiences, and social media.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and think outside of the box.

  • Previous experience with Sprinklr, Opal, and other social media tools.
