Social Media Coordinator [MMA Florida]

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the company's online brand presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Research marketing trends and craft original content including written, video, and photo materials for social media platforms.
• Encourage audience engagement and lead regional social media training sessions.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop and manage a results-driven social media marketing strategy.
• Maintain national brand standards and social media policies across channels.
• Source and distribute shareable thought leadership and promotional content in weekly internal newsletters.
• Attend onsite and offsite events to produce live social media content.
• Train internal colleagues on social media best practices and policies.
• Oversee internal digital signage to support regional initiatives.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create a social media calendar.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends and respond to messages, inquiries, and comments.
• Review analytics and generate reports on key metrics.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with B2C social media marketing or content development.
• Strong oral, verbal, and written communication skills, including social listening.
• Proficiency with photography, photo editing tools (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar), and digital media formats.
• Experience with social media management tools such as Amplify and SproutSocial is a plus.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to understand current and future trends in digital content and social media.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Highly collaborative and willing to work cross-departmentally.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, journalism, or copywriting.
• Experience using Amplify and SproutSocial.
