About the Role

The Social Media Manager - FL is responsible for creating and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with the community, and support marketing efforts. The role involves content creation, campaign development, community management, event organization, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners, all within a dynamic fitness or wellness environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and curate content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with the brand's voice and goals
  • Visit studios to capture content for workshops, events, or new classes/teachers
  • Plan and develop social media campaigns, including creating and maintaining a social media calendar for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Review and adjust social media plans and campaigns monthly, including 30-day content calendars and content inspiration decks
  • Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices
  • Plan, create, manage, and optimize social media ad campaigns across various platforms using KPIs to measure success
  • Launch marketing campaigns for new location openings or acquisitions
  • Engage with followers, customers, vendors, and partners to foster organic growth
  • Organize events to increase brand awareness and build relationships with influencers, media, and industry professionals
  • Identify target influencers, media partners, brands, and audiences to enhance visibility
  • Discuss, plan, and promote events, including coordinating attendees and managing event logistics
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to align social media efforts with company goals
  • Create and maintain relationships with brands, influencers, and media

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with agency management systems (Applied Epic preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational abilities and a proactive client-first attitude
  • Active Florida 440 or 220 Insurance License, with the requirement to obtain a 220 license within 3 months
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance
