About the Role

As a Social Media Manager, you'll define and execute social media strategies that attract, engage, and connect audiences to authentically enhance Opry Entertainment Group's (OEG) portfolio of brands. You'll animate social media and content strategies through deliberate planning, goal setting, and management to expand digital audiences across our iconic venues. As the ideal candidate, you'll embody passion and creativity while sharing your pride in our legacy through innovative digital experiences. You'll cultivate engagement and drive revenue across all brands and channels with your winning attitude and collaborative spirit, creating unforgettable experiences that connect artists and fans around the world. Reports to Director of Social Media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive social media and content strategies through deliberate planning, goal setting, and content management that reflect our authentic voice and legacy.
  • Set clear objectives based on goals and guidelines, competitive research, identified audiences, and known motivations, leveraging promotional and creative tactics, techniques, digital tools, and platforms.
  • Develop and implement processes, workflows, and social media playbooks, including defining content calendars, production timelines, and reporting to support brand goals.
  • Partner with social media content creators to define strategy, foster teamwork, and encourage innovative thinking.
  • Guide the planning, capture, creation, and curation of compelling, original content that enhances brand visibility, engages audiences, and drives action.
  • Write compelling copy in brand voice, shoot, edit, publish, and share original, high-quality content and short-form videos.
  • Collaborate and maintain partnerships with marketing managers, data analysts, artist relations, operating leaders, sponsorships, and other team members to identify target audiences and optimize ROI and customer experience.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, artist teams, and partners who provide content, support, and media services.
  • Drive audience growth and engagement by expanding social following, customer databases, improving retention and conversion, and generating revenue.
  • Analyze and report social media performance metrics, insights, and best practices, and act on this data for continuous improvement.
  • Establish the ROI impact of social media on overall marketing efforts and share findings with management and stakeholders.
  • Manage community and events by interacting with fans in real-time, participating in online conversations, answering questions, creating content to spark discussion, and monitoring livestream events.
  • Optimize brand pages to maximize visibility of social content.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to report customer/fan feedback, manage brand reputation, and coordinate actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to create compelling content, including writing copy, shooting, editing, and publishing videos.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with content creators, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Analytical skills to track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, digital tools, and promotional tactics.
  • Excellent communication skills and a creative mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
