About the Role

Inizio Evoke Comms is a global, award-winning health communications agency that partners with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech, consumer, and non-profit clients. We deliver insights-driven public relations campaigns, policy programs, and initiatives that advance health and wellbeing around the world. We are looking for a Social Media Manager to serve as a daily social contact for clients and account teams with oversight from a Vice President. The role involves collaborating with the account team for client projects, developing social strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This is a hybrid role reporting into a Vice President, Social Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of clients' business, needs and mindset of target populations
Be the daily support team member on multiple client accounts
Liaise with company partners and vendors on client projects
Collaborate with senior members of the social media team to develop social strategies, including channel and content strategy and pillars
Manage assigned projects independently and provide progress updates to team members
Contribute to tactical planning on assigned social media projects and begin to develop social strategies
Develop thought leadership pieces and client POVs
Ensure social and influencer programs are compliant with FDA and FTC regulations and platform best practices
Work with junior team members, serving as a role model and mentoring, and provide direction on projects
Partner with account teams to meet client needs, communicating project objectives, direction and timing
Write and review social content calendars, copy and creative to ensure delivery and effectiveness
Lead in developing a variety of materials including community management guides/SOPs and external community guidelines
Maintain relationships with platform reps and vendors
Understand industry compliance environment and operate within client SOPs and guidelines, including proficiency with approval tools such as Zinc and PromoMats
Conduct ongoing community management, flagging potential issues or concerning comments/messages to team members and clients

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advocacy, digital, or social media
4+ years of communications or related marketing, advocacy, digital, social, or health experience
Experience with partnership, US/global health issues, or health product communications
Strong understanding of all social media platforms
Skilled in copywriting and aligning content with social strategy and brand voice
Understanding of industry compliance environment and ability to operate within client SOPs and guidelines
Familiarity with approval tools such as Zinc and PromoMats and ability to develop proficiency in their use
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Solid research skills
Passionate about improving lives through innovations in health
Experience in social and traditional media

Nice to Have

Experience in community management and content development
Proficiency with community management tools and SOPs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field
4+ years of relevant experience in health communications or digital/social media
