Social Media Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create and curate engaging/creative social media content, including photography, digital imagery, graphics, videos, and written copy.
• Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
• Manage social media accounts and regularly post updates, interact with followers, and monitor user comments.
• Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Stay up to date on social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure the brand is always at the forefront of industry trends.
• Collaborate with other marketing and communications teams to ensure brand messaging looks and feels consistent across all channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with influencers and brand advocates to increase brand reach.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in social media management or a related field with a portfolio of previous work required.
• 3 or more years of professional experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret social media metrics.
• Proficiency in social media analytics software.
• Experience and proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, etc.) and associated content creation tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Express, Canva, etc.
• Experience with social media advertising campaigns and paid social media campaigns, from strategy through execution.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in social media trends and algorithms.
• Ability to travel to commercial shoots as well as outer markets to capture content.

Nice to Have

• AI content creation experience.
