Social Media Specialist - PART TIME

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement social media content for various clients.
• Source, edit, and publish engaging copy and graphics for social media posts and email marketing newsletters.
• Collaborate with account managers and graphic designers to ensure brand consistency.
• Check social media notifications regularly and respond to comments and direct messages.
• Schedule, manage, and analyze the performance of email marketing campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, email marketing, and design tools.
• Perform other digital marketing, design, or miscellaneous marketing/office duties as assigned.
• Work with team members to understand client needs and develop appropriate strategies and content.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of all social media platforms.
• Basic understanding of email marketing tools.
• Professional or educational experience with graphic design (Canva or Adobe preferred).
• Experience with or the ability to learn social media publishing tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout, and Social Pilot.
• Experience with or the ability to learn email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp and Constant Contact.
• Interest or experience in photography/videography (e.g., iPhone photo/video).
• Ability or interest in writing compelling headlines and copy.
• Ability to understand and track analytics across platforms.
• Ability to prioritize work and learn independently and collaboratively.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Cloud software.
• Knowledge of video production and editing.

Qualifications

• Experience or education in graphic design.
• Basic knowledge of social media management and email marketing platforms.
