About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the software base for VOIP communication between aircraft.
• Utilize C++ and Boost Libraries to enhance existing software functionalities.
• Work on embedded systems, with interactions facilitated by the VIP system.
• Implement and optimize SIP, RTP, and IAX protocols for effective communication.
• Collaborate using Cisco Call Manager for conference management across aircraft.
• Participate in security and operating system hardening efforts.
• Use tools like BitBucket and JIRA for project management and code repository.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency in C++ (5+ years).
• Experience with Boost Libraries (2-3 years).
• Knowledge of VOIP and associated tools.
• Familiarity with SIP, RTP, and IAX protocols.
• Experience with embedded Linux and RedHat systems.
• Understanding of Python 3.X.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cisco Call Manager.
• Familiarity with Yocto and Embedded Linux.
• Knowledge of Fortify and SELinux.
• Skills in operating system hardening.
