About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Significant focus on developing embedded software code for spacecraft bus avionics, spacecraft payloads, and ground support equipment, including development of utilities for support development on deeply embedded systems.
• Evaluates the integration of engineering solutions within the overall environment and ensures documentation, testing, maintenance, and updates are completed.
• Communicates with engineering professionals, solution users, and management throughout the solution development cycle, representing the company as a prime technical contact on contracts and projects.
• Interacts with senior external personnel on technical matters requiring coordination between organizations.
• Participates in the development of new or expansion of existing business opportunities.
• Plans and coordinates the maintenance of engineering solutions, including documentation, reporting, and technical presentations.
• Plans for future applications of solutions based on new developments in engineering technology.
• May lead or advise on projects or programs and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
• Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Observes all laws, regulations, and obligations applicable to business conduct.

Requirements

• Experience in developing embedded software code for spacecraft bus avionics, payloads, and ground support equipment.
• Ability to evaluate integration of engineering solutions and ensure proper documentation and testing.
• Strong communication skills to interact with engineering teams, management, and external personnel.
• Ability to determine technical objectives for advanced engineering solutions.
• Experience in planning and coordinating maintenance and updates of engineering solutions.
• Knowledge of engineering technology developments for future applications.
• Ability to work in a safe manner in accordance with established procedures.
