Key Responsibilities

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for various software applications and systems.
Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to contribute to design and architecture decisions.
Review code developed by other developers, providing feedback in line with industry best practices and coding guidelines.
Build testable software, define tests, participate in testing processes, automate tests using tools like Junit and Selenium, and leverage design patterns and the test automation pyramid.
Triage defects or customer-reported issues, debug, and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
Contribute to the health and quality of services and incidents, identify and escalate issues promptly, utilize telemetry and service health indicators, and assist in root cause analysis and preventative measures.
Understand and work within a DevOps model, taking ownership of requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software in production.
Properly document new features, enhancements, or fixes, and contribute to training materials.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Experience with software development practices and design patterns.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitHub, and bug/work tracking systems like JIRA.
Basic understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of building and shipping successful software products and services.

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with networking.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
