As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Asset Management Group organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. You will be part of an Agile engineering team responsible for technical design and development within the Asset Management line of business, working with testers to address bugs, propose and design solutions, and serve as a mentor for team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
  • Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Writes code, tests and deploys software.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
  • Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities related to application development, application design, architecture, and system development life cycle.
  • Experience with technical troubleshooting and technical writing/documentation.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment and serve as a mentor for team members.
