About the Role

The Software Quality Engineer at Sonova United States Corporate Services, LLC is responsible for ensuring and increasing software development quality and compliance. The role involves overseeing development standards, evaluating new software components, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. The position requires travel of 20-40% nationally and contributes to maintaining high standards in software solutions in accordance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure and increase software development quality and compliance.
Prioritize Release and Portfolio Backlog based on business case criteria.
Ensure that internal and external SAP CC resources work according to SAP CC guidelines & standards.
Evaluate and assess impact of new software components on infrastructure, processes, and applications.
Oversee continuous improvement and rollout of Development Standards, Procedures, Tools & Quality Policies.
Review existing IT solutions for improvements and stay up-to-date with new technologies.
Provide detailed technical know-how to support solution decisions for different options.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
30 months of experience with SAP CC guidelines and standards.
30 months of experience overseeing the enhancement and implementation of development standards, procedures, tools, and quality policies in accordance with the latest FDA/TÜV regulations.
30 months of experience reviewing and supporting periodic reviews of validated systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Experience with SAP CC guidelines and standards
Experience with development standards, procedures, tools, and quality policies
Experience with validated systems review and support
