Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement test procedures to analyze and ensure the quality of agricultural equipment software programs as part of the Precision Technology Team.
  • Design, develop, implement, update, and maintain test procedures & standards for new or enhanced features for vehicle displays, application controls, steering solutions, digital services, telematics, and fully autonomous driverless technologies.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to support multiple features and programs.
  • Develop and implement test solutions within test frameworks for Vector tools like CANalyzer and CANoe.
  • Define and develop tools to support End-to-End automation and vehicle simulation.
  • Evaluate test requirements based on specifications, standard procedures, and internal/external requirements, and develop test plans and techniques.
  • Analyze system requirements and test plan documents to develop automation scripts using Python, MATLAB, and Selenium.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts for software programs.
  • Complete test data analysis, debugging, troubleshooting software issues, defect creation, and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams on requirements, specifications, test documents, and failed test scenarios.
  • Create and/or update test procedures, document test reports and software quality metrics, and best practices documentation.
  • Maintain Test Automation repository including code reviews, approval for merge requests, and resolving merge conflicts.
  • Research new developments in engineering design, methods, and applications.
  • Train new team members and other teams on utilization of test equipment, test automation procedures, and applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Embedded Systems Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
  • Experience with agricultural machines, farming applications, and embedded HMI hardware.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or scripting languages.
  • Experience developing test frameworks including Robot, PyUnit, and Pytest.
  • Knowledge of CAN/LIN protocols and measurement tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, or INCA.
  • Experience with Software Configuration Management tools such as GIT, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub.
  • Experience with functional and regression software testing.
  • Familiarity with Integration Requirement Management and Defect Tracking tools including Polarion, Doors, and Jira.
  • Experience with embedded and cloud-based software services.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on an Embedded HMI hardware.
  • Knowledge of vehicle automation and telematics technologies.
  • Experience with vehicle simulation tools.
