About the Role

The Solutions Consultant at Palo Alto Networks is a technical leadership role that aligns with the company's mission to be the cybersecurity partner of choice, protecting digital environments worldwide. Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas by developing and executing strategic, technical account plans targeting cross-platform solutions.
  • Understand key customer business requirements and demonstrate high-level designs across the Palo Alto Networks portfolio to create business value.
  • Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform to enhance productivity, operational efficiency, and security efficacy.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand and articulate the technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions.
  • Deliver technical presentations, demos, and workshops tailored to various audiences, simplifying complex ideas.
  • Lead technical validation efforts to ensure technical wins in opportunities based on best practices.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources (Specialists, Channel Resources, Customer Support) to ensure a cohesive, one-team approach.
  • Promote end-to-end solutions including PANW and partner professional services to accelerate business value realization.
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and differentiate Palo Alto Networks' leadership in cybersecurity.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering roles.
  • Understanding of data networking, modern application design, and cloud architectures.
  • Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and influence business initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence and gain buy-in from key stakeholders in customer-facing or internal roles.
  • Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.
  • Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions such as Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and SOC Transformation Technologies.
  • Ability to partner with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions.
  • Experience in complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and multi-product solutions.
  • Proficiency in English and willingness to travel for in-person customer meetings.
