You'll work closely with a team that helps our new and existing Hi-Tech, Media & Entertainment, Consumer Goods & Services, and Financial Services customers optimize and expand adoption of Esri technology, identify new areas of growth, and deliver expertise that helps deliver on their mission. Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships by prospecting, developing, and implementing location strategies for large, complex organizations.
  • Create new opportunities within high-level accounts and deepen relationships.
  • Participate in and present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars.
  • Understand our customers by demonstrating advanced industry knowledge and its relevance to GIS applications.
  • Identify key stakeholders and business drivers within organizations and gain access to executive, enterprise-level decision makers.
  • Understand complex customer budgeting and acquisition processes.
  • Learn and grow by articulating the value of Esri technology related to target industries and conducting research for professional development.
  • Use innovative whiteboarding and presentation skills to support visual storytelling.
  • Deliver results by proactively executing account management and sales processes to meet revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with teams across Esri and partners, share knowledge, support/mentor team members, and take initiative to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience managing the sales cycle, creating partnerships, and establishing trust with large customers.
  • Possess financial and business acumen to develop account growth strategies.
  • Advanced knowledge of GIS and new technology trends, with the ability to translate into complex solutions.
  • Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and industries such as Hi-Tech, Media & Entertainment, Consumer Goods & Services, and Financial Services.
  • Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time.
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship not available).

Nice to Have

  • General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis and its application for problem solving and pattern recognition.
  • Master's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
