About the Role

The Sr. Analyst, Performance Marketing role is within The Walt Disney Studios Marketing organization, specifically in the Performance Marketing Strategy & Operations team. The team leverages ad technologies and data-driven strategies to optimize media performance across various platforms, supporting marketing efforts for theatrical and streaming titles. The role involves working closely with internal teams and external media agencies to drive value, improve advertising effectiveness, and ensure continuous improvement in marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and implement performance marketing strategy for theatrical and streaming titles, including operations, optimizations, audiences, pacing, and bids across Disney Entertainment Studio Content Marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and execute holistic, omni-platform audience data strategies incorporating first-party, second-party, and third-party data.
  • Create and manage auction bid, pacing, and optimization strategies to enhance media performance.
  • Monitor and track performance marketing budgets for testing, analytics, measurement, and contingency planning.
  • Oversee testing setup within ad platforms to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Maintain and ensure data quality in ad buying platforms by managing taxonomies and inputs.
  • Analyze and share insights from campaign data, testing, and performance metrics in collaboration with Marketing Science and Analytics teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal media and marketing teams and external media agencies to improve campaign outcomes.
  • Participate in daily communication with media agency teams to ensure proper campaign implementation.
  • Support internal teams with ad hoc projects and maintain knowledge of media technology, platforms, and analytics tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Advertising Media, Media Analytics, or Social/Programmatic Auction Buying.
  • Experience with ad platforms including DMPs, Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Innovid, LiveRamp, and DSPs such as Google DV360, Trade Desk, Verizon Media Group.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented individual.
  • Understanding of the ad technology ecosystem.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of digital ad serving, tracking, and implementation.
  • Ability to work on-site in Burbank, in a hybrid capacity.

Qualifications

  • Educational background equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree.
