About the Role

The Sr. Analyst, Product Analytics at Walmart Connect is a key role within a high-growth digital advertising platform that leverages Walmart's extensive omnichannel data to deliver measurable advertising outcomes. The position involves supporting product discovery, testing, and insights to help optimize Walmart's advertising solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to support the company's growth strategy and connect brands with customers through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with product management leads to support discovery, A/B testing, and post-launch insights.
  • Proactively identify product opportunities within and beyond product ownership areas through hypothesis-driven culture and data deep dives.
  • Develop an understanding of various data sources and organize them to deliver critical insights to the broader organization.
  • Design and execute A/B tests to test and quantify the impact of new product features.
  • Drive A/B testing as an ongoing discipline to improve product features and customer experiences across platforms.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to address opportunities for product improvements.
  • Support the implementation of product solutions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Product Analytics, Data Science, or equivalent field, preferably for a consumer-facing, engagement-based digital product.
  • Experience with digital ads analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with design and execution of A/B tests/experimentation and regression modeling.
  • At least 3 years of experience with SQL, Python, and visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • BA/BS or graduate degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to solve diverse problems efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven decision-making skills and ability to influence through insights.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with digital Ads analytics strongly preferred.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area.
  • Experience working on large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and digital accessibility best practices.

Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in product management.
  • Option 2: 7 years' experience in product management or related area.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area with 4 years' experience as a product manager.
