About the Role

The Sr. Associate, Credit Risk at Santander Bank in New York is responsible for risk analysis and independent oversight of credit quality within assigned portfolios. Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough testing of the consumer lending processing system, including functional testing, non-functional testing, and acceptance testing.
Identify and document defects and issues encountered during testing.
Verify that the system meets the defined requirements and specifications.
Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of defects.
Create and maintain detailed test cases and documentation.
Document test results and findings clearly and concisely.
Provide feedback to the development team to improve system quality.
Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Business, Statistics, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
At least 3 years of experience with system implementation or deployment processes.
At least 2 years of experience with test case design and execution.
Familiarity with test management tools for at least 2 years.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
Experience with automation testing tools (preferred).
Experience in SQL and/or data manipulation tools like SAS, Python, or R.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented and organized.

Nice to Have

Experience with Triad systems or similar systems.
Established work history or demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in relevant fields.
Master's Degree in Accounting, Business, Statistics, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or related fields (preferred).
