About the Role

We are Cognizant AIA - Artificial Intelligence and Analytics. Our AI &amp; Analytics practice focuses on designing the future of data-driven decision making by decoding customer needs, preferences, and behaviors. We help leading companies prototype, refine, validate, and scale their AI and analytics products and delivery models, transforming how businesses source, interpret, and consume information. Our goal is to create flexible data structures and streamlined data architectures that quickly turn data resources into meaningful intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of data engineering principles to design and develop data architectures.
Work with big data technologies such as Hadoop, GCP Cloud Big Data components, Apache Kafka, and Spark (including Spark Streaming and MLlib).
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Java, Scala, Python, SQL, and scripting languages.
Utilize data modeling, data warehousing, and build data marts to support analytics needs.
Collaborate with teams to implement data solutions that support business analytics and insights.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
2+ years of experience with Hadoop or equivalent Cloud Big Data components, preferably in GCP.
Strong experience with Apache Kafka and Spark (including Spark Streaming and MLlib).
Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, SQL, and scripting languages.
Experience with Teradata, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, and MapReduce.
Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and building data marts.
Understanding of Price Elasticity and pricing analytics is a plus.

Experience with Price Elasticity and pricing analytics.

Qualifications

Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
