About the Role

The Sr Business Development Consultant role at Palo Alto Networks involves driving growth within the 5G market by establishing and nurturing relationships with service providers, technology partners, and enterprise customers in North America. The position focuses on understanding customer-specific technology requirements, influencing adoption of cybersecurity solutions, and executing strategic account go-to-market plans. Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the Service Provider market and 5G solutions, including key relationships and program capture processes.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key technical, operational, and executive-level customers.
  • Partner with Service Provider account leaders within the NAM sales team to drive revenue growth.
  • Execute sales plans and account development strategies to generate new sales opportunities and increase revenue.
  • Discuss and present Palo Alto Networks' value proposition, offerings, and competitive differentiators.
  • Maintain knowledge of 5G/OT industry trends, major programs, and contract awards.
  • Foster a collaborative, team-based environment by sharing best practices and building lasting relationships.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technology sales experience within the Mobile Solution industry, with strong expertise in enterprise solutions.
  • Exceptional sales, negotiation, organizational, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas while representing technical products or solutions.
  • Practical knowledge of routing and switching products related to Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with 5G solutions.
  • Understanding of the organizational makeup, core missions, and strategies of organizations in the telecom and technology sectors.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
