About the Role

The Sr Business Development Consultant role at Palo Alto Networks involves driving growth within the 5G market by developing strategic account plans, building customer relationships, and promoting cybersecurity solutions to service providers, technology partners, and enterprise customers in North America. Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the Service Provider market and 5G solutions, including key relationships and program capture processes.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key technical, operational, and executive-level customers.
  • Partner with Service Provider account leaders within the NAM sales team to drive revenue growth.
  • Execute sales plans and account development strategies focused on generating new sales opportunities and increasing revenue.
  • Discuss and present the Palo Alto Networks value proposition, offerings, and competitive differentiators.
  • Maintain knowledge of 5G/OT industry trends, key technology developments, and major contract award programs.
  • Foster a collaborative, team-based environment by sharing best practices and building lasting relationships.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technology sales experience within the Mobile Solution industry, with strong expertise in enterprise solutions.
  • Exceptional sales, negotiation, organizational, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas while representing technical products or solutions.
  • Practical knowledge of routing and switching products related to Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with 5G solutions.
  • Knowledge of the organizational structure, core missions, and strategies of organizations in the service provider and enterprise sectors.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
