About the Role

The Senior Business Information Management Analyst (US) provides business data concern management leadership and support across a broad range of Business Segments and Corporate Functions. This position supports the US Data Management Office by working with Data Owners and stakeholders to identify risks, improve adherence to data management processes, and develop data solutions aligned with enterprise standards. The role involves analyzing large datasets, supporting data governance, and collaborating with various teams to ensure data quality and compliance within a financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Work with numerous business stakeholders to understand impediments to adherence to the Data Concern Management procedures
Support the development of presentations and communications of data concern management adherence results
Provide expertise within the specialized field and support data management activities to meet business needs
Support the management of data in accordance with enterprise data policies, standards, and strategies
Identify and bring forward data risks to leadership
Document tasks and activities for audit purposes
Collaborate effectively with others to establish and execute on common goals
Analyze, design, and develop data repositories, warehouses, marts, and ETL processes
Support data modeling, data transformation, and data lineage activities
Support solutions, applications, and tools leveraged across functional groups
Develop data roadmaps and technical solutions for data integration and management
Support data quality, governance, and risk mitigation initiatives
Participate in cross-functional projects as a subject matter expert

Requirements

Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
5+ years of relevant experience in business administration, statistics, mathematics, scientific, or financial fields
Proficient knowledge of data sources, tools, and technologies used in reporting and data analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of current market trends and emerging data management practices
Skill in using analytical software tools and reporting techniques
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting deadlines
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Nice to Have

Candidate with 3+ years of relevant data experience
Experience within the Banking/Financial Services Industry
Experience with Data Risk Management, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Lineage, and Metadata
Experience with visualization tools and data platforms
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow
Self-motivated, forward-thinking individual with minimal supervision
Process identification and documentation skills

Qualifications

Educational background including undergraduate degree or technical certification
Relevant experience in data management, analytics, or related fields
