Job Description

About the Role

The Sr. Competitive Intelligence (CI) Program Manager is responsible for leading iCIMS' competitive intelligence strategy - ensuring that our teams have the insights, tools, and positioning they need to win in the market. In this role, you'll own the collection, synthesis, and distribution of competitive and market intelligence, enabling Sales, Product, and Marketing leaders to make informed, strategic decisions. You will serve as the command center for competitive intelligence, bringing together cross-functional partners across Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, Labs, Decision Support, and senior leadership to strengthen our competitive positioning. Your work will directly inform pricing, product strategy, sales tactics, corporate development, and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the ongoing collection, analysis, and synthesis of intelligence on iCIMS' tier 1 and tier 2 competitors, including product offerings, go-to-market strategies, sales motions, pricing models, and key differentiators
  • Proactively monitor the competitive landscape, flagging emerging trends and developments, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to define actionable responses
  • Conduct win/loss analyses in partnership with Product Marketing, Product Management, and third-party research vendors to identify patterns, root causes, and opportunities to improve win rates
  • Manage vendor relationships that support our CI and win/loss programs, ensuring deliverables meet business needs
  • Maintain and update internal competitive lists for Win Against, Saves, and Takeaways on a monthly basis
  • Partner with Decision Support to ensure relevant, accurate, and timely CI reporting

Requirements

  • Experience in competitive intelligence, market analysis, or related roles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Marketing
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and programs
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present insights effectively
