Sr. Copywriter

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop out-of-the-box concepts, rationales, and copy for campaigns across print, digital, broadcast, and direct response media.
• Partner with assigned Sr. Art Director and Creative Director to create synergies that transform projects into masterpieces.
• Craft work that aligns with strategy and elevates the brand, acting as a strategic magician.
• Create content mindful of the client's measurement objectives, ensuring impact and effectiveness.
• Prepare and present concepts and layouts internally and to clients with flair and excellence.
• Execute copy for in-house materials such as biographies, case studies, web copy, and more.
• Contribute creative expertise to new business initiatives and uncharted territories.
• Deliver assignments on time and within budget, treating them as commitments integral to your creative work.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in a Copywriting role within an advertising agency or creative department, specializing in a life sciences or healthcare brand.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or a related field preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
• Strong storytelling skills demonstrated through a portfolio, especially with HCP pharma clients.
• Experience in writing across all mediums including print, digital, direct response, broadcast, and video.
• Conceptual thinking and strategic execution skills.
• Understanding of client, industry, and market landscapes.
• Expertise in digital and print direct response writing.
• Up-to-date knowledge of web and digital media production.
• Excellent presentation skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in healthcare and health tech marketing is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with healthcare providers, payers, and healthcare tech companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or a related field (preferred).
• 5-7 years of relevant copywriting experience in healthcare or life sciences sectors.
