About the Role

The Digital Communications Analyst II is responsible for supporting the client's products and services, including operational analysis and implementation support for retail mass marketing products, campaigns, customer marketing programs, marketing channels, regulatory activities, and key mass customer correspondences and e-communications. This role involves liaising with various internal and external teams to improve customer experience, ensure compliance, and support new business activities within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple, concurrent projects and ensure timely delivery.
  • Perform daily execution tasks, conduct audits, and prepare reconciliation reports with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and customer impact.
  • Communicate information effectively to cross-functional teams in both written and oral form.
  • Create and deliver presentations as needed.
  • Exercise initiative, good judgment, and professionalism with minimal supervision.
  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in operational tools and monitor vital operational metrics to ensure superior performance.
  • Deliver status updates to key stakeholders regularly.
  • Identify issues, diagnose root causes, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Design, implement, and manage processes and database solutions to support new business and operational activities.
  • Evaluate existing operational processes for controls and maintain process documentation.
  • Evaluate and improve program support processes through automation and system enhancements.
  • Develop business requirements and approach documentation for new marketing and operational capabilities.
  • Design, implement, and execute User Acceptance Testing scripts for new capabilities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team discussions to develop timelines for campaigns and product development.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to deliver projects, enhancements, and fixes.
  • Monitor customer communications for compliance with rules, policies, and regulations.
  • Perform quality assurance tests on links, images, subject lines, and dynamic elements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand campaign requirements and develop digital communication strategies.
  • Oversee the effectiveness of websites and digital platforms.
  • Develop content and data element mapping for communications.
  • Participate in creative discussions and develop solutions for stakeholders.
  • Handle HTML coding, proofing, editing, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Awareness of SMS compliance, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the CAN-SPAM Act.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Experience with HTML coding, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop is preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is preferred.
  • Ability to work long hours when required.
  • Attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical and analytical aptitude.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships at all levels.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • HTML, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop experience.
