About the Role

As Senior Director, Head of Strategic Marketing at Chatham Financial, you'll develop and lead marketing strategies to drive global revenue growth for the company's products and services. Reporting to the CMO, you will oversee a team focused on understanding target audiences, positioning offerings, crafting messaging, launching new capabilities, increasing utilization, and supporting business growth across segments and regions. The role involves strategic planning, market analysis, client engagement, and collaboration with product teams to ensure effective market penetration and client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as Marketing's subject matter expert on industry, offerings, and clients.
Monitor the market, analyze competitive landscape, and adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
Partner with Client Engagement and Product teams to define product positioning.
Lead primary client research to inform messaging and content strategy across segments, regions, and personas.
Conduct market segmentation, analysis, and strategic planning around TAM and ICP.
Coordinate with leadership and teams to create a unified approach to market penetration and client engagement.
Map the buyer's journey for each segment and develop compelling content for each stage of the funnel.
Create and maintain sales enablement and marketing materials for segments, regions, and solutions.
Develop and execute global marketing plans and GTM programs to meet business and marketing goals.
Guide Client Engagement teams on campaigns and product launches, providing presentations and demonstrations.
Lead product launch strategies and market education programs.
Track, measure, and analyze marketing programs to optimize ROI and effectiveness.
Report on marketing and business growth KPIs regularly.
Collaborate with partners to generate referrals and increase awareness.
Nurture relationships with industry consultants and influencers to promote Chatham's solutions.
Build, manage, and mentor a team of strategic marketing managers and associates.

Requirements

Results-oriented with strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and project management abilities.
Deep knowledge of asset and investment management, including trends and workflows.
Proven experience in executing global marketing plans and managing budgets.
Ability to synthesize complex concepts into compelling messaging.
Strong presentation skills and ability to engage senior decision-makers.
Experience translating client insights into marketing fundamentals such as segmentation and messaging.
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; advanced degree a plus.
20+ years in product, segment, or integrated marketing roles within financial services, preferably fintech or advisory services to asset managers, PE firms, etc.
8+ years leading global teams.
Experience in market research and competitive analysis.
Global marketing or product experience including UK, EMEA, and APAC regions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or related field.
20+ years of relevant marketing experience in financial services.
8+ years of leadership in global marketing teams.
